Shipping and Freight Policy

DELIVERY

Please check all addresses carefully. SWEET SWINE O’MINE guarantees delivery only to the addresses that are provided. If we are unable to deliver the package, your order will be returned to our warehouse. Shipments that you re-direct and shipments to incorrect or incomplete addresses cannot be guaranteed to deliver on time. SWEET SWINE O’MINE only ships in the continental United States.

DELIVERIES ARE ONLY MADE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
SWEET SWINE O’MINE is not responsible for weather delays or carrier issues.

  • LTL (Less than Load) or FREIGHT SHIPPING
    Products weighing over 100 lbs may require LTL shipping.
  • STANDARD SHIPPING
    Standard ground shipments for in stock items are processed in approximately 2 business days or less. Generally, we strive to ship same day if the order is received before 2 pm CST. Shipments are only processed Monday through Friday, except for national holidays.
  • FEDEX 2ND AND NEXT DAY AIR
    Expedited shipping orders placed by 1pm CST will ship the same day. Expedited shipping orders placed after 1pm CST will ship the next business day. Deliveries are only made Monday through Friday. No deliveries will be made on weekends or holidays. Please note that per FedEx policy not all areas are guaranteed to receive overnight deliveries. Carriers may only count business days for 2nd day delivery dates.

Please call (901) 831-1451 or email mark@SSOMD.com for a quote. Shipping involves many details to provide an accurate shipping estimate e.g., resident or business, if a lift-gate is necessary, how urgent is the shipment, etc. The shipping process is as follows:

  1. Call SSOM for product shipping quote.
  2. Pay for product and shipping.
  3. Grills shipped by freight, typically leave warehouse in 3-5 days.

All items are shipped from our warehouse in Byhalia, Mississippi or directly from our manufacturers. We strive to ship orders in a timely manner. Delays may occur due to holidays, weather, availability, or other circumstances. 

SATURDAY DELIVERY:

This service is available in limited areas for an additional fee. Contact Customer Service at 1-901-831-1451 during normal business hours for Saturday delivery options.

SHIPPING HOLIDAYS

Sweet Swine O’Mine and its carriers will not ship or deliver on the following days:

New Year's Day, President's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day,

FREIGHT POLICY

Most freight products ship on standard pallets. Products that ship freight are either too heavy or too large dimensionally for ground shipment. All shipments will require access for a semi-truck and trailer to deliver, unless otherwise stated. Keep in mind, shipping to a business address is less expensive and typically has a more convenient delivery process.

Residential addresses in a limited access area or outside of the delivery area, may require you to pick the product at the nearest freight terminal. We will not be responsible for additional fees or compensate for deliveries in these areas. If this is a concern in your area, please advise during the shipping quote process.

After placing your order, depending on the ship to address and delivery method selected, you may receive a call from SSOM regarding the shipping. For this reason, it’s extremely important to provide your main contact number at the time of check out.

For freight shipments going to a residential address, the shipping company will call you from the local terminal to schedule a delivery appointment. All residential freight requires an appointment to be delivered. Oftentimes, the estimated delivery date on the website will be incorrect because of the appointment policy. Do not make arrangements to stay home to accept delivery until the shipping company confirms the established delivery appointment.

Shipping to a business with forklift and or loading dock access is considerably less. Residential deliveries need lift gate assistance, a surcharge fee is applied for this service in the amount of $80 - $100. The lift-gate platform is installed at the rear of the truck to unloading your package. The driver will take your delivery off the truck for you, but it is your responsibility to bring it onto your property.

Please take a few minutes to examine the exterior of the package for any visible damage. You should unpack your item at the time of delivery in the driver’s presence. In the unlikely instance that you recognize damage, remember to note it on the Proof of Delivery (POD) slip that you’ll receive from the driver. If the damage is beyond your level of acceptance, refuse the delivery, take pictures, and notify Mark ASAP at (901) 831-1451 or email mark@SSOMD.com. We never expect the customer to file a claim, we always do that for the customer.

By signing the proof of delivery and accepting ownership of the property in its current condition, your signature and delivery acceptance is acknowledging responsibility for filing any claims with the freight company for damage reimbursement. We will not be responsible for damaged items that are not noted on the POD and without photos taken during the time of delivery.

SUPPLIER SHIPMENTS

Items shipped to you directly from our suppliers may have additional conditions which will be communicated to you if they fall outside these policies.

SHIPPING TO PO BOXES

Select USPS option for PO Box addresses. FedEx deliveries to your PO Box must be shipped to the street address of your US Post Office with the PO Box as the second address line. Note that the USPS can take an additional day to process your delivery in these cases. Items shipped via freight cannot be delivered to PO Boxes. Please refer to our Freight Policy for more information on freight shipments.
