  • Pork Shoulder
  • Salt
  • Sweet Swine O’ Mine Original BBQ Rub
  • Foil or Butcher Paper
  • Thermometer


  1. Add a little salt to a pork shoulder.
  2. Add Sweet Swine O’ Mine Original BBQ Rub.
  3. Cook at 250-300 degrees until you get a good color.
  4. Wrap in foil or butcher paper until the internal temp is 200-205 degrees.
  5. Rest in confined space for at least an hour.
  6. Drain juice and skim fat.
  7. Pull meat and serve with more rub and juice. You can use sauce too - sparingly.
  8. Use smoke as an ingredient. (See tips and tools) A little goes a long way.
  9. Salt to taste before serving as well.
